Down 2-0 to start the third inning, Parkland scored 4 runs to take a 4-2 lead that they never relinguished. Tyler Bruno (4-for-5, 2 doubles, RBI), Jeff Strisovsky (1-for-3, BB) and Evan McAndrew (2-for-4) led off with back-to-back-to-back singles. Tanner Stufflet (2-for-3, double, BB, RBI) followed with an RBI double. Harrison Rabenold (3-for-4, RBI) brought home Stufflet with a single, taking second on the throw. Alec Bartholomew (1-for-2, BB) walked. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch.  Josh Dieter brought in Rabenold with a SF.

Evan McAndrew pitched a complete game with 11 strike outs. Defensive gems by Harrison Rabenold on a bad hop to 3B, stepped on 3B and fired to 1B to complete a double play, Tyler Bruno on a very bad hop to short to get the runner at first, Josh Dieter with a sliding catch down the RF line to rob the hitter of extra bases, and AJ Konya going into the 1B hole and whirling to get the lead runner at 2B.  Ben Trinkle was 1-for-1 with a pinch hit.

Bloomsburg University junior pitcher Casey Cooperman (PHS '10) outdueled fellow high school teammate and East Stroudsburg University junior pitcher Matt Smith (PHS '10) by a score of 5-2 on Monday as Bloomsburg swept a pair of games from East Stroudsburg. The game featured a total of five PHS alumni between the two teams.  In addition to Cooperman and Smith, the Parkland group included Andy Brandstetter (PHS '10) and Mike Tenaglia (PHS '10) from East Stroudsburg and Bloomsburg's Matt Hurd (PHS '12).

On Tuesday, Bloomsburg University freshman pitcher Matt Hurd (PHS '12) collected his first win with his first collegiate start; a 6-5 complete game win over IUP.

The Parkland Trojans suffered their second loss of the season, losing to Wilson West Lawn by a score of 7-5.  Despite the Trojans scoring three quick runs in the top half of the first inning, including a two-out, 2-RBI single by Alex Flynn (2-for-4, 2 RBI), the game was close the whole way.  Wilson West Lawn answered with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the first inning to tie the game at 3-3.  Parkland grabbed a one-run lead in the top of the 2nd inning on a RBI triple by Damin Muth (3-for-4, triple, run, 2 RBI), which scored Justin Afflerbach (1-for-4, BB, 2 runs) who had reached base earlier on a single.

After Wilson West Lawn tied the game at 4-4 in the 3rd inning, they took a 5-4 lead into the 6th inning after scoring a run in the 5th inning.  The Trojans responded in the 6th inning when a walk to Afflerbach followed by consecutive singles by Muth and Tyler Graeff (2-for-4, run) loaded the bases with one out.  Chris Rabasco (2-for-4, run, RBI) then delivered the RBI single to tie the game at 5-5.  However, the Trojans could not score another run in the inning leaving the bases loaded.  Wilson West Lawn rallied in their half of the 6th inning to take a 7-5 lead into the 7th inning.  Brad Vasilik (2-for-5, run) tried to lead a two-out rally for the Trojans in the 7th inning with a single, but he was left stranded; the 12th baserunner the Trojans left on base during the game.  Gabe Mosser (1-for-4) also added one hit to Parkland's offense.  On the mound, starting pitcher Rhett Jacoby pitched five innings for the Trojans collecting three strikeouts on one walk, while Rabasco came on in relief in the 6th inning allowing two hits.
