Congratulations to the following players on being selected to to the 2017 Morning Call All-Area Team.

Parkland alum and current Arizona State pitcher, Connor Higgins was selected in the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft by the Texas Rangers.  It was surely an exciting time in the Higgins' household as his name was called.  It is an honor to be selected but, even more so as he only just completed his sophomore season.

The next decision is whether to pursue a professional career now or return for his junior season.  Baseball circles in Arizona project Connor as a starter or as the closer for the Sun Devils in the 2018 season, should he decide to remain in school.  Whatever his decision may be, the Parkland Trojans' family wish his dad Scott, his mom Beth, and of course Connor congratulations on a fantastic achievement.
