The Trojans were both Aggressive and Relentless on Tuesday in Nazareth in an 11-1 Victory with Mike Jenkins on the mound. Four PM start times are problematic if reporting is not your full time gig so we will pick it up offensively in the Top of the 4th. In the field and from the mound through 3 innings Jenkins and the Trojans had retired Nazareth in order as they would do again in the fourth. From the mound Jenkins was dominant once again with the only real threat in the fifth inning when the Blue Eagles were able to squeeze across a rare run against Jenkins and the Trojan Defense. On the day Jenkins was workmanlike yielding 3 hits a rare run and a walk through 6 innings with Adam Mellinger coming on in the seventh to close out the Victory for the Trojan Lineup that had staked Jenkins to a four run lead through the first three innings!

In the Top of the 4th Will Algard led off with a walk stole second and scored on a Mike Jenkins single. In the Top of 5 CK Kinsley ROE went 1st to 3rd on a Matt Mellinger single and later scored as the other half of the M&A Brothers Adam Mellinger singled. Will Algard then singled scoring Matt Mellinger and the Trojan lead was up to 7 after the Top of the 5th. The Blue Eagles then squeaked out their lone run of the game in the bottom of the 5th. Top 6th CK Kinsley walked followed by a Matt Mellinger walk but the score held at 7-1. Jenkins and the Trojans worked around a single in the bottom of the sixth maintaining the lead at 7-1 In a flurry of Top of the 7th activity Dylan Miller walked stole 2nd and to 3rd on passedball, Carson Fracas walked Ryan Giovenco goes 1st to 3rd Ty Conrad with a single and the Trojans head to the bottom of the 7th 11-1. The Trojans held their annual Shirt off My Back Night Monday night with the Seniors on the squad honoring those that have made an impact in their life. The Cardinals made an immediate impact getting a run on the board in the top of the first inning and never looked back in their 5-2 victory over the Trojans. AJ Palumbo got the start for the Trojans and went 5 innings, Adam Smith came on in relief for the final 2 innings. Offensively the Trojan Linup saw hits from Matt Mellinger (2), Austin Mueller (1), Cullan Wadsworth (1H, 1R), Will Algard (1H, 1 R) and CK Kinsley (1). All in all the Trojans managed 6 hits on the day.
The JV Trojans continued their streak on Monday with a 12-2 win over Pocono Mountain East. The Lineup is shortening games for the Trojan pitching staff with Andre Sorrentino goin three inning and Jared Kucharczuk 2 on this day. The Trojans got on the board in the first inning with Joseph Webber and Matthew Ervolina both with singles to start the game. In the 2nd inning the Trojans threatened with an Alex Oliver single and a Mark Leiby walk but did not score. The JV Squad would then go on to put up five runs in the third with offensive contributions from Jospeh Webber, Matthew Ervolina, Joshua Miller, Alex Oliver, Austin Imler & Mark Leiby. The 2 run 4th was courtesy of Austin Brockel, Joseph Webber, Joshua Miller and Alex Oliver. In the fifth the Trojans added another four runs via a Mark Leiby walk, Koby Staivecki 2B, Joseph Webber 1B, Matthew Ervolina 1B, and Joshua Miller and Sergio Rodriguez singles.

JV notches 10 to 1 win over Bulldogs

The JV Squad kept rolling on Saturday vs Wilson West Lawn posting a 10-1 Win at home; scoring 2 in the second 4 in the third, 3 in the fifth and 1 in the sixth to complete the offensive onslaught. Alex Oliver got the start for the Trojans with Joshua Miller and Mitchell Marciniak on in relief. Scoring in the 2nd came via a Sergio Rodriguez walk and Alex Oliver single.

The 4 run third was a result of offensive contributions from Phillip Schoch, Joseph Webber, Jared Kucharczuk, Sergio Rodriguez and Alex Oliver. The 3 run fifth saw Matthew Ervolina, Jared Kucharczuk, Sergio Rodriguez, Julian Nalesnik, Andrew Sorrentino and Mark Leiby adding more offense to pad the Trojan lead. The Trojans tcked on the final run in the sixth thanks to the efforts of Webber, Ervolina and Nalesnik.

On Saturday at Trojan Stadium the Trojans took a 4-1 lead after a 4 run second inning but could not hold onto the lead behind starter Matt Mellinger and brother Adam Mellinger in relief losing 6-4 to the Bulldogs.  Offensively the Trojans saw hits from Adam Smith, Adam Mellinger, Ethan Imler and Will Algard.
