To Honor and Remember Patrick Jenkins

Posted by Kevin Roth at Feb 13, 2017 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )

What else can I do? It is a question that athletes sometimes ask themselves when thinking about effort on the field or pre-season preparation. In business WECID? may be asked in meetings to improve productivity but, to a select few people it is how they live their lives.

This was how Patrick Jenkins lived his life.

The question “What else can I do?” was asked by him daily for the sole reason to help others. Pat was a Parkland parent, friend, and youth coach who was taken from us far too soon after a battle with pancreatic cancer. His unending kindness before and after his diagnosis will always be remembered by those that knew him.

The WECID? Scholarship will be awarded yearly to a Parkland High School student who most exemplifies both kindness and a commitment to help others. The vision of WECID? is not only to pay tribute to Pat, but hopefully all those that hear and see these words will ask themselves, what else can I do? If they can answer that question with just one act of kindness, that in itself will honor Pat and give a lasting gift to his family.

Donations toward the scholarship will be accepted. Shirts will be sold for $12 and all proceeds will be donated to the scholarship fund. The WECID? motto shirts that are seen here are samples which have already been produced and are available for purchase. Custom shirts can be ordered with your logo with one color scheme (minimum order for custom shirts is 12*) if you would prefer. All shirts are produced in men’s sizes.  Please click the handout form below for order information.
