Parkland High School Baseball

The Parkland Trojans took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning on RBI singles by Chris Rabasco (1-2, RBI, 2 BB) and Jacob Rosenblatt (2-4, RBI), but North Penn put up 6 unearned runs in the second inning on Parkland fielding errors.  Brian Zesch pitched 4 2/3 innings of relief behind starting pitcher Tyler Graeff.  Zesch worked effectively striking out three and allowing 2 hits.  Chris Rabasco pitched the 7th with 2 strikeouts.  Down 8-2, Parkland tried to stage a 7th inning rally after a leadoff double by Brandon Evans (1-3, 2B, R) and a 2-RBI triple by Damin Muth (1-3, 3B, 2 RBI, R, BB).  A sacrifice fly by Tyler Graeff (1-2, RBI, R, SF, BB) made it 8-5 which was the final score.
