Trojans Fall to Liberty, 6-2
The Parkland Trojans fell to Liberty this afternoon by a score of 6-2. Parkland took an early 1-0 lead in the 1st inning on an RBI single by Tyler Graeff (3-3, RBI), then scored a run in the third inning when Damin Muth (2-3, 3B, R, BB) led off the inning with a triple to deep left field and later scored on a Liberty error to put the Trojans up 2-0. The Trojans had there chances to score more runs in later innings, but they could not manage to get the key hits when they needed it. They stranded eight runners on base. Nick Rabasco was 2-3 at the plate with a walk, and Matt Hurd was 1-3. Graeff pitched five innings striking out three. Chris Rabasco pitched one inning in relief.
