Flynn Shuts Out Allen for 5-0 Trojan Win

Alex Flynn added another outstanding performance to the Parkland Trojan pitching staff's resume by hurling a complete game shutout of visiting Allen, leading the Trojans to a 5-0 victory.  Flynn allowed only four Allen hits over seven innings of work, struck out eight, and walked none.

It was another frustrating game at the plate for the Trojans getting only three hits during the game.  They were held hitless until the 3rd inning when Damin Muth (1-for-3, 2B, BB, RBI) doubled down the left field line to score Brandon Evans who had reached base earlier in the inning on a walk.  The game remained at a score of 1-0 until the 6th inning.  Brad Vasilik (1-for-3, sac bunt) and Tyler Graeff (1-for-2, BB, R) each had singles to round out the Parkland offense.  Despite collecting only one base hit in the 6th inning, the Trojans scored four runs thanks to four walks and two Allen errors to take the 5-0 lead and eventual victory after Flynn finished his gem in the 7th inning.
