Tyler Duff is the 2013 Morning Call Pitcher of the Year, a significant honor that caps off an incredible senior year for the pitcher.  Duff collected a record of 8-0 with two saves and an amazing 1.08 ERA.  His 8 wins ties him for the all-time Parkland school record for most single season wins by a pitcher.   Five of his wins were complete game victories and he pitched two shutouts.  Duff was nearly automatic on the mound all year for the Trojans leading the team to the District XI championship.  In 52 innings of work, Duff struck out 48 and only allowed three extra base hits.  Amazingly, 23 of those innings were 1-2-3 innings.  Duff beat Liberty three times with one of those wins coming in the LVC semi-final game.  He collected key saves over Northampton and Pleasant Valley and beat Whitehall in the District XI championship game.  Tyler will attend Williams College next year where he will also continue his baseball career.

Congratulations to Tyler!
