The JV team picked up its 5th win of the season defeating Hazleton 4-3.  Starting pitcher AJ Palumbo recorded the win, scattering 3 hits over 4 innings.  Palumbo allowed 1 run, striking out 3 while giving up two walks.  Dylan Snyder threw 3 innings in relief, allowing 2 runs on 1 hit, recording 3 strikeouts and 5 walks.

Nick Stillittano (2 for 3, double, R, RBI) led the Trojan offense with a double in the 2nd inning scoring Nate Markowicz (0 for 2, BB, R), who walked to start the inning, to give Parkland a 1-0 lead.  The Trojans also threatened in the 3rd inning on a Nick Iannotta (1 for 2, BB) single who then stole 2nd, but Iannotta was stranded at 3rd to end the inning.  Hazleton picked up a run in the top of the 4th to tie the game 1-1.

Stillittano got things started again for the Trojans in the bottom of the 4th with a 2-out single.  Consecutive walks by Collin Duff (0 for 1, BB, R) and Josh Lee (0 for 1, BB, R) loaded the bases.  Stillittano scored on wild pitch and Scotty Hudock (1 for 3, 2RBI) singled to score Duff and Lee for a 4-1 lead.  Hazleton mounted a challenge in the top of the 7th, scoring two runs.  With 2 outs and a man on third, a fly ball to center ended the game, securing the 4-3 win.
