The JV bats stayed hot pounding out 11 hits as the Trojans rolled past Freedom 14-2 in 5 innings, improving to 8-1 on the season.  Starting pitcher Collin Duff worked all 5 innings to earn the win.  Duff allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 4 strikeouts and 3 walks.  The Trojan defense backed up Duff's pitching performance with another solid game.  A bases loaded double play ended the 4th inning, halting the Patriot's attempt of a late game rally.

Parkland jumped out to early lead, scoring 4 runs in the bottom or the 1st.  Joey Bolick (0 for 1, 3BB, 3R) walked to lead off the inning and moved to 3rd on a Scott Hudock (3 for 3, BB, 2R, 3RBI) single.  Ethan Imler (1 for 2, 2BB, R, 2RBI) singled to score Bolick and move Hudock to 3rd.   Matt Mellinger (1 for 3, double, BB, 2R, 2RBI) followed with a double to left field scoring Hudock.  Imler scored on a sacrifice fly by Nate Markowicz (0 for 1, R, 2RBI) and Nick Stillittano (2 for 3, R, 2RBI) singled to score Mellinger for the 4-0 lead.

The Patriots picked up 2 runs in the top of the 2nd, but the Trojans responded with 6 runs in the bottom half of the inning breaking the game open 10-2.  Christian Kinsley (2 for 2, BB, 2R, RBI) got the inning started with a lead-off single and Bolick followed with a walk.  With runners as 2nd and 3rd, Hudock singled down the right field line to score Kinsley and Bolick.  Mellinger then walked and Markowicz reached base on a fielder's choice.  Stillittano singled to score Mellinger and Will Algard (1 for 2, double, R, 2RBI) doubled to left field scoring Mellinger and Markowicz.  Kinsley, with his 2nd hit of the inning, singled to score Algard for the 10-2 lead.  The Trojans added a run in the 3rd inning on a Hudock single who later scored on a Markowicz sacrifice fly to center.  Parkland rounded out the scoring, with 3 additional runs in the 4th.  Colin Calpin (1 for 2, BB, R) singled to start the inning. Four consecutive walks by Kinsley, Bolick, Hudock, and Imler scored Calpin and Kinsley.  Bolick scored the Trojans final run on a Markowicz ground ball for the 14-2 victory.
