JV Trojans improve to 2-0 with convincing win over Dieruff 16-1

Freshman Phil Schoch made the most of his first start as a Trojan and the Parkland offense erupted for 16 runs over three innings in this shortened game. Schoch allowed only 1 run striking out 3, while retiring the last 8 batters he faced in consecutive order.
Every Parkland player reached base at least once, led by Ethan Russell’s (2-2 BB) 4 RBI performance. Freshman Sergio Rodriguez ( 1-2 BB 2 RBI 2 R), contributed to the offensive onslaught, as part of an 8 run first inning.
The Trojans scored 4 more runs in each of the second and third innings to end the game at the 16-1 score.
