JV Trojans down Freedom behind Duff, Conrad

Collin Duff pitched four strong innings allowing no earned runs and Ty Conrad pitched the final two striking out 4 batters, for the 14-2 Trojan win.
Parkland started the scoring in the first inning with hits by Matt Ervolina, Will Algard, a walk by Alex Oliver and 2 RBI single by Duff. A throwing error and passed ball accounted for two more runs.
The scoring continued in the 2nd when Adam Mellinger started the inning with a walk, stole second, and scored on a fielding error. Oliver and Duff both singled for another run.
Four consecutive walks in the 4th inning lead to three more Trojan runs, and the game was put out of reach with the JV squad scoring 2 in the 5th and three in the 6th for the 14-2 victory.
