Posted by Kevin Roth on Jun 02 2016 at 05:00PM PDT in 2019 Varsity

Tyler Bruno, Kyle Friebolin, and Andrew Roth will play this Saturday, June 4th at noon in the Deppe All Star Classic baseball game played at Limeport’s Stadium.  Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.  All three senior players had stellar careers while playing for the Trojans.  Here are some of the highlights of their careers while playing for the Red and Gray.

Tyler Bruno, second baseman and four year Parkland player is certainly remembered in the 2015 EPC Title game when he had a career day against soon to be 1st round draft pick Mike Nikorak going 3-3 with a double, triple, and 2 RBI to lead the Trojans over Stroudsburg.  He is 3rd on the Trojan list for career triples with five.  The final statistics for his Varsity career are:

Games  Avg        OBP       H             RBI         R             SB           2B           3B           HR          Fielding Pct.

75           .339        .425        58           31           36           12           8              5              3              .932

Kyle Friebolin, catcher/1B and four year Parkland player had a breakout year as a senior.  His clutch bat was displayed many times during the 2016 season.  He led the team in RBI with 23 which had him break into one of the top five all time seasons for run producers in Trojan history.  His hit in the 2016 District XI Title game drove in the first two Trojan runs of the game.  The final statistics for his Varsity career are:

Games  Avg        OBP       H             RBI         R             SB           2B           Fielding Pct.

37           .253        .358        22           27           9              1              4              .993

Andrew Roth, centerfielder and four year Parkland player was known for his speed.  He is third in Trojan career stolen bases.  Roth broke into the Trojan lineup as a junior and came to be known as a nemesis of some of their biggest rivals, especially Easton.  In his career versus the Rovers he batted .571 going 8-14.  No hit and run scored were bigger than in the 2015 District XI game when he doubled and scored the winning walk off run to lead the Trojans to their third straight District Crown.  The final statistics for his Varsity career are:

Games  Avg        OBP       H             RBI         R             SB           2B           Fielding Pct.

61           .364        .450        52           17           40           16           2              .987

Please come out and cheer your Trojan All Stars to benefit the American Cancer Society.
