Collin Duff got the start on the hill in the Mountains on Tuesday and went four scoreless innings from the hill, allowing zero runs on four hits, striking out five and walking none as he has continues to display a real feel for his pitches with each appearance for the Trojans. The Trojans did weather a small push by East Stroudsburg North in the fifth inning during which ESN plated three runs, but it wasn't nearly enough and the Trojans still managed to get out of the Poconos with the 18-3 win in 5 innings over ESN on Tuesday. The Trojans got on the board in the first inning as they took an early 5-0 lead. The Trojans also tallied nine runs in the fifth inning. Parkland's big bats were led by Austin Imler, Alex Oliver, Jared Kucharczuk, Ethan Russell, AJ Palumbo and Gabe Stay, who all drove in runs. Adam Mellinger threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Will Algard paced the offense onthis day going 2-for-3 with 3 rbi's at the plate to lead the Trojans offensively in hits. Jeremy Piatkiewicz (1-2, Double) with an rbi and CK Kinsley 1-3 with an rbi, Matt Ervolina (1-2), Koby Staivecki (1-2)added to the offensive output on the day also.
