Jv Trojans Rally but fall to Nazareth 6-3 in final inning. Rodriguez & Staivecki on the mound

The JV Trojans suffered a tough loss on Wednesday after battling back to take the lead late only to lose the game in the final inning. After yielding a first inning run to Nazareth the Trojans were stingy behind Sergio Rodriguez blanking the Blue Eagles until the final and decisive inning. Based on the amount of runs the JV Squad has been putting on the board game after game all season long, one would have to view this game as an outlier offensively. Through the first 5 innings only 3 Trojans amssed hits against Nazareth, singles by Joseph Webber, Mark Leiby, Austin Imler. In the Top of the 6th the Trojans posted 3 runs courtesy of a lead off single by Austin Imler then a trio of knocks by Joseph Webber, Matthew Ervolina and Jared Kucharczuk. Unfortunately the comback was brief as Nazareth posted 5 runs in the bottom of the frame to secure the victory.
