Trojan JV wins 2nd straight as they beat Allen 12 to 2

Luke Dauberman ( 5k and 1ER) pitched a great 5 innings, but some early team miscues gave Allen a 2 to 0 lead through 3 innings. Parkland was the visiting team even they we were playing on the JV Home field. In the top of the 4th, the Trojans got 6 runs and finally got to the Allen starting pitcher. After Dean Scott got on base (1 single and 1 run scored), Kevin Santos hit a nice line drive to center field for a double and Junel Rodriquez walked to load the bases. Up to bat came catcher, Jake Donmoyer. With many family members watching, Jake drilled a shot deep down the left field line knocking in 2 runners. Dauberman, who scored 3 runs had a walk to load the bases. Back to back bases loaded walks to Owen Lehr and Nick Ernst (1 for 2 with 2 rbi) made it 4 to 2 and then when Parker Swartz (3 for 5 with 3 rbi’s) and Dean Scott got singles to knock in runs to get the team to a 1/2 dozen lead. The momentum started to build in the 5th when Owen Lehr (1 for 3, 4 rbi’s) hit a line drive double down the left field line for 2 rbi’s and then Parker Swartz knocked him in with a single. Bases load walk rbi’s to Owen Lehr and Nick Ernst in the 6th and a Swartz single finished the scoring for the Trojan JV team as Santos and Ratliff (1 for 2) and Dauberman (hbp) all scored. In the last inning, Owen Lehr came in a struck out 2 for a scoreless 6th and Parkland is now on a modest 2 game winning streak.
