Parkland High School Baseball

The JV Parkland Trojans finished an outstanding year by beating Northampton by a score of 8-2 to give them a final season record of 18-2.  The JV's dominated their opponents for most of the season compiling a total of 180 runs scored while their pitchers and defense only allowed 47 runs against them.  Today against Northampton Brad Vasilik was 2-for-4 with a walk and two RBI's, Kevin Leaswitch was 2-for-4 with an RBI, Andrew Lessel was 2-for-3 with a walk, Ryan Dumbach was 2-for-3 with a walk and three RBI's, and Dan Zaccaro was also 2-for-3 with a walk and RBI.  On the mound, Zack Miiller worked 3.1 innings collecting seven strikeouts.  In relief, Rhett Jacoby struck out three in 2.2 innings of work, and Connor Higgins pitched the final inning striking out two batters.
