To all,
Randy Redman asked me to remind all of you that your sons should of
brought home forms recently from the intramural sessions to order 2004
Parkland Baseball clothing being sold by the Booster Club. If you have
not seen or received this information or if your sons have been unable
to attend because of other athletic commitments still in season, please
contact Randy Redman ASAP at 610-391-7420 if you are interested in
ordering any items with the order Randy is intending on submitting early
next week. If you get the answering machine please leave your name,
telephone number and address and your intention to order and Randy will
get a form to you immediately with the absolute deadline dates for the
order and checks to be received back to him. The Booster Club has
certain minimum orders and deadlines to meet to get the clothing back in
a timely fashion. This email is being sent via a list of email addresses
given to me primarily created from the 2003 booster club list. So if you
are aware of others that may have been missed, my apologies, but
possibly some of you could forward this email to those you may be aware
of including the incoming freshman, any other upperclassmen that are
back trying out again and other coaches (Yocum, Merkle, Spadt(s) and
Bashore for whom I was not given email addresses) just to be sure most
families are covered who may wish to order clothing on this first order.
Randy indicated there most likely will be a second order but it may be
limited as to what items are available depending on quantities desired.
On another equally important matter, the Parkland Baseball Booster Club
is planning to conduct a fund raiser/picnic during the season which will
be in the form of a Minature Golf Tournament to be held at Putt
University on RT 309 in Center Valley on 4/25/04 from 1200 noon to
400pm. This event, as noted, will be held during the season which will
hopefully enhance participation of all members and families of both the
Varsity and Junior Varsity teams and should provide a great opportunity
to meet and greet teammates, familiy members, other Parkland Baseball
supporters and coaches as the team pushes toward the end of the regular
season and league, district and state playoffs. The Booster Club will be
in need of members to head up committees for this event in order for it
to be a success. The committees will be discussed at the next Booster
Club meeting on March 10, 2004. Volunteers will have the ability to sign
up then as well as after the team is selected at the "Meet the Team
Pizza Party" on March 24, 2004 at the high school cafeteria. Some
preplanning and coordination is presently underway for the Minature Golf
Tournament out of neccessity, but a complete plan and financial analysis
will be presented at the March 10, 2004 Booster Club meeting at 700pm to
be held at the high school which will allow for discussion, revisions
and approval by the Booster Club as appropriate.
Lastly, the Parkland Baseball website (www.etamz.com/parklandbaseball)
will have further updates and information concerning Booster Club
activities as well as team information and schedules on a regular basis.
Please visit.

We've said it before and we'll say it again: Our members make the Booster Club what it is. And we are again asking for your help.
With the 2004 baseball season quickly looming the booster club is in need of volunteers for the following:
1. Program solicitors: we have done a second mailing to over 75 past advertisers and would like 2 people to follow-up with a phone call. Keep in mind that even the smallest dollar amount can relate to over $1,600 toward putting new cleats on the boys.
2. Barbados fund-raiser: tickets have been sent to all booster club members, with this in mind we need to follow-up on the sale of tickets. This could and should be a very profitable event.
3. Youth night/Senior night: the season may be a few months away however the need for people to organize these very important nights is upon us. If you have a few hours to spare over the next two months we would appreciate your help.
4. Baseball Banquet: this year again Willow Tree is the front runner to host our banquet. With this in mind there is more organizing which needs to be done.
The next scheduled Booster Club meeting is Thursday, 1/22/04, at 7:00 p.m. in room D-133 and am confident that together we can come up with solutions.
Kindest regards,
Eric (Rick) Rosner

Dear Booster Club Members,
Attached you will find exciting information for our upcoming First Annual Wiffle Ball Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Schnecksville Fire Company on September 27 & 28 and promises to be a fun two days for all.
The goal of the Booster Club this year is to limit the fund raisers in which the members will not have to sell tickets, hoagies etc...". With this in mind we need your help to volunteer for special committees and as always your participation. We are also in need of sponsors, i.e. companies to sponsor a field, donate merchandise for drawings etc.
